One of my goals in creating this world of Calamity City is to look at the world of toons in a way that's never been seen before. I've always been fascinated with toons, and toon physics, and the toony world and culture. I've always wondered how the world would be different in a world run on toon physics. How would society develop in a world where what would be fatal injuries here are just minor annoyances that you just have to live with, or if everyone were some sort of funny animal, mythological creature, mad scientist, etc. Calamity City has been my answer, to look deeper into the world that we've only gotten to see the surface of.

Hello. Tmaneea again. Not sure if you're all aware, but the Calamity City Series has a point. From a distance, it may just appear as a bunch of random cartoons, but there's a purpose behind it all. And I am writing this blog in hopes of making that purpose clear.
I have been in love with cartoons for a long time. There is just so much I like about them. They have a wonderful ability to make the impossible seem possible, the unlikely seem likely, and the gruesome seem funny. Cartoons presents a world that anyone can understand. All the stuff that makes the real world terrible and confusing just go away. Cartoons are just simply delightful.

Hi. Tmaneea here, creator of this wiki and of Calamity City and all its characters. This is my little space to share my progress on the series and on feature plans on comics and characters.

Calamity City is a fictitious city that runs on toony logic and is populated by an assortment of characters.
