Calamitites is any being or creature living in Calamity City, whether born there or implanted. Calamitites are of particular interest in the field of Calamitology.
Physical Appearance[]
Calamitites are a very varied bunch, especially considering that not all calamitites originate in Calamity City, so any being or creature who comes into Calamity City become a calamitite.
Typically, calamitites are bipedal, humanoid creatures. Many take the appearance of anthropomorphic animals, while others are human, non-living objects, mythical beasts, or other odd creature.
Calamitites can come in a many variety of colors and patterns, many of which do not exist in the natural world.
Calamitites also vary in size, with some as small as insects, and others as large as elephants.
Quadrapedal calamitites exist too.
Mental capabilities[]
Intelligence of the calamitites vary just as much as their appearance do. Most possess an average level of intelligence and sapience. Some are smarter than others. Some dumber creatures exist, behaving in a way animals would in the real world.
Physical Properties[]
All calamitites share a physical tolerance for abuse. Their bodies can stretch, compress, and come apart in order to avoid permament damage. Their bodies can change shape in a variety of ways. They can be flattened, stretched, inflated, ripped, cubed, sphered, impaled, etc. In most all cases, they can be reformed to their former selves.
All calamitites possess a "natural form" or "default form", which is the appearance they take when not being acted upon by an outside source, ie, being stretched or manipulated in any way. The natural form is the form in which they are most comfortable and can perform at their best ability.
